Japan is home to a population over 120 million people, yet only about 1% identify as Christians.  Here, the picture is almost the reverse of the parable of the lost sheep: rather than one sheep being lost among ninety-nine, ninety-nine are still waiting to hear the gospel.

I believe music can be a powerful way to open doors—to start conversations, build genuine relationships, and ultimately share the hope of Jesus. Over the years, God has given me countless opportunities to serve the Japanese Church through worship, while also taking me beyond the walls of the church to share my testimony and the Gospel with people who may never otherwise encounter it.

 

My desire is to see God's Kingdom grow throughout Japan by using the gifts He has given me through music, alongside fellow Christians who share a heart for this nation. We call ourselves “musicianaries”—musicians who are committed to bringing the Gospel into places where traditional ministry may not reach.
